Who we are
Delivery Status is a package-tracking service operated under the muse-ship project. The consumer site is www.deliverystatus.now. Contact: hello@deliverystatus.now.
What we collect
- Tracking numbers (and optional carrier hints) you submit to
POST /v1/trackor related API routes, so we can look up shipment status. - Optional account data if you sign in (for example email and a user id) to use authenticated features such as a watch list.
- Technical logs typical of a hosted web service (timestamps, request paths, coarse error data). We do not use these to sell advertising profiles.
How we use data
We use tracking numbers to return normalized delivery status, ETA, and scan history. When a live aggregator key is configured, lookups go through our tracking data providers. Authenticated watch data is stored with our database host (project muse-ship).
Processors
- Tracking data providers — third-party aggregators used when a live API key is configured. They receive the tracking number (and optional carrier) needed to perform the lookup.
- Database host — authentication and database for optional signed-in features.
- Hosting — the application runs on a cloud host that may process request metadata as part of delivering the service.
Sale of data
We do not sell your personal information or tracking numbers. We do not share them with third parties for their independent marketing.
Retention
Public track requests may be cached briefly in memory (about 30 minutes) to reduce aggregator quota use. Authenticated watch records remain until you remove them or ask us to delete your account data.
